Defenders Soccer

Defender is the one of the most important postion in football. Even though it is considerd that defending is a phyical game. But its  not. There is an amazing art of defending.
There are four types of defenders: centre-back, sweeper, full-back, and wing-back. The centre-back and full-back positions are essential in most modern formations. The sweeper and wing-back roles are more specialised for certain formations.
In my opinion the best defenders in the world are..
1. Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus)

2. Marcelo (Real Madrid)

3. Diego Godin (Atletico Madrid)

4. Philipp Lahm (Bayern Munich)

5. Gerard Pique (Barcelona)

6. Dani Alves (Juventus)

7. Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munich)

8. Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus)

9. Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

10. Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain)

11. David Alaba (Bayern Munich)

12. Mats Hummels (Bayern Munich)

13. Virgil van Dijk (Southampton)

14. Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur)

15. Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur)
